OVERVIEW
Madame Netflix is a YouTube original series for Netflix Philippines. It's a satirical astrology show where a larger-than-life mystic delivers tongue-in-cheek horoscopes and slides in Netflix title recommendations for each sign.
I was brought in as the art director: everything the viewer sees as the show's visual language was mine to define and execute.

CREATIVE CHALLENGES
The brief pointed to "campy mystical" which meant psychic reading shops, crystal balls, velvet, candlelight. The instinct would be to play that straight, but the show's whole premise is satirical.
The identity had to be in on the joke: heightened, self-aware, genuinely characterful, and still polished enough for a platform production.
MY ROLE
I chose a typeface that felt serious and built for maximum legibility on screen, colors pulled from the wardrobe itself so graphics and host read as one world, and a logo that took the mysticism seriously so the show didn't have to.
The identity I built ran across on-screen graphics, motion assets, lower thirds, and social content.
THE RESULTS
Produced across all 6 episodes on Netflix Philippines' YouTube channel — a complete season carried by one visual world.
